God’s Abundance for All People (GAAP)

GAAP, is  food pantry ministry at O’Neal Street United Methodist Church. Through GAAP, we strive to address food insecurity in our community by providing essential groceries and basic necessities to those who need it most. Each week, volunteers gather to sort, pack, and distribute food, ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry. More than just a food pantry, GAAP is a ministry of compassion, offering support and hope to families and individuals facing challenging times. We rely on the generosity of volunteers and donors to keep our shelves stocked and this mission going strong. Anyone who feels called to serve is welcome to join us in sharing God’s abundance with all people.

Turkey Stew Fundraiser

At O’Neal St. United Methodist Church, our fundraisers are not only essential to supporting our ministries—they’re also a wonderful time of fellowship and community connection. One of our beloved traditions is our Turkey Stew fundraiser, where we cook up what many consider the best stew in the area twice a year! These events bring people together from all around to share in delicious food and warm company. It’s a time of laughter, storytelling, and friendship, reflecting the spirit of our church community. Our worship services are much the same—uplifting, welcoming, and filled with joy.
